Vegan Waffles

Fluffy, slightly chewy on the inside, crispy on the outside. The perfect brunch essential!

The neutral flavor will allow both a savory or a sweet "dressing" for this beauty. Who said avocado & egg goes only on a toast?

  • 3/4 cup non-dairy milk of your choice (rice milk will make it even crispier)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp olive / avocado / coconut oil
  • 1 cup Chickpea Bread / Charcoal Waffle blend


  1. Pour milk into a bowl and add lemon juice. Let it curd a little bit.

  2. Add oil and whisk in the flour blend of your choice: Chickpea Bread or Charcoal Waffle. If you use the Chickpea bread blend add in and extra 1/3 tsp baking powder.

  3. Pour into hot waffle iron / ceramic coated waffle maker. Cook for 4 minutes or following waffle maker instructions.

Recipe Notes

1 batch makes 3 larger (4-5 inch) waffles.

The whole bag makes all together 9 larger waffles.
