Superfood Chocolate Donuts

These donuts will win your heart! Rich chocoalte, deep flavor and SO good for you! Pretty much each ingredient is a superfood, so dense with nutrients!


  • 2 1/2 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup nut milk of your choice
  • 2 tbsp green banana flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened sunflower seed butter
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup fresh ground almonds or hazelnuts of sunflower seeds if you need nut free
  • 1- 2 tbsp Maca optional
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Reishi / Chaga Powder
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp pink himalayan salt
  • 3-6 tbsp maple syrup depending on how sweet you prefer your treat


  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350F. I prefer using the convention function of my oven.
  2. Place bananas and milk in food processor and puree them.
  3. Add rest of the ingredients and swirl it around till they are blended well.
  4. Portion out dough into a silicone doughnut pan with a spoon, filling each mould till about halfway. The batter will fill 7-8 large doughnut moulds. You might need to coat the pan with coconut oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Bake on 350F for 12 minutes. Test it, if fork comes out clean-ish it's baked though. The middle will always be a bit moist (yum!)
  6. Take out from oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. I could remove them from the mould nicely only when doughnuts were cool.
