Cinnamon Bread Roll Cream Cheese Icing (optional)
- 4 ounces of vegan cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup butter / ghee / coconut oil
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla / almond extract
- rind and a few drops of juice from 1 organic lemon optional
Lightly warm butter /ghee / coconut oil in a sauce pan with cream cheese till pourable, then remove from heat.
Whisk in vanilla extract, powdered sugar (and lemon juice and rind if using).
Pour over Cinnamon Bread Rolls and let it set before serving.
If you prefer it with less sugar, you can use 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1/4 cup tapioca powder and a little extra sweetness via a free drops of Stevia.
