The Committee session under the COVID-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to change the way we live and work. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants as well as taking into account the on-going travel restrictions in many countries, it is decided that the Third Session of the Committee on Energy will be in virtual format with delegates to join virtually through KUDO e-conference platform.

Sessions will take place in the morning and afternoon over 3 days. On 24 to 25 February from 10.00-12.00 and 14.00 – 16.00, and on 26 February from 14.00-17.00, GST+7.

For the session to proceed as smoothly as possible, given time constraints, it is requested that interventions during the sessions should be brief and focus on the substantive agenda items only and directly address the specific issues for discussion. This will allow the Chair to give an opportunity to all countries to present their point of view and contribute to the discussions.

After the Committee Session, an evaluation of the virtual meeting will be undertaken to capture your feedback and recommendations for the secretariat to take into account when planning future meetings.
